In 1944 the Hummel was modified with an extended glacis plate that accommodated both the driver and radio operator – the earlier model only had a small extended compartment for the driver. Dragon Models’ new 1\/72 Hummel model faithfully replicates all the features of this Late Model, and includes some completely new parts for the 15cm sFH18\/1 L\/70 gun and the vehicle’s gun compartment.
